Adult Degree Program General Requirements
To complete the Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Lipscomb, you must have a total of at least 132 semester hours of work that can be credited toward the degree and complete both a major and a minor in addition to general education requirements.
The Adult Degree schedule includes the courses for six majors and one minor. Available majors include Accounting, Human Resources, Management, Management Information Systems, Law, Justice and Society, and Education. The suggested minor is Applied Ethics (except for MIS and Education majors). Academic advisors will help with semester planning and with the declaration of a major and minor. The chart below pertains to all majors in the Adult Degree Program, except for Education.
Integrated into Lipscomb's degree requirements is a prescribed course of Bible study. The courses for the Applied Ethics minor are offered in the evenings and online, giving you the opportunity to complete a minor and satisfy the Bible requirement at the same time. If a minor other than Applied Ethics is chosen, for every 15 hours of academic part-time work taken at Lipscomb, two hours of Bible must be included before a student may take additional classes.
Coursework to be applied toward these degree requirements may be obtained at Lipscomb or transferred from other institutions with the appropriate approval.

Transfer Credits: Work transferred from other colleges and universities may be credited toward the degree requirements. Only work from accredited institutions and on which a grade of C or better was earned is transferable. Of the courses taken elsewhere, only those that are comparable to Lipscomb courses can be considered as substituting for required courses.
Your transcript(s) from other schools will be evaluated by the campus transcript analyst so you can know exactly what previous coursework will be credited toward your degree requirements. The maximum number of hours transferable from a two-year institution is 66 hours, and the maximum number of hours transferable from a four-year school is 99 hours. The maximum total amount transferable is 99 hours.
Currently, we do not have a required minimum number of transfer credits, so you can feasibly begin the Adult Degree Program with zero previous college credits. You can complete your general education courses in the ADP.
